What’s New for 2024?
At the moment, our biggest news is the announcement of 2 different types of golf schools you can schedule now.
- Group Golf Schools – These programs are pre-scheduled for select weekend dates from April through November. Some weekends coincide with the Singer/Songwriter Concert Series and provide you an opportunity to purchase tickets for these concerts well in advance of the general public. Group Golf Schools will elevate your game. Each 3-day program is conducted by a McLemore Golf School Staff Instructor. And encompasses of a golfer’s game. Guaranteed to be no larger than a 3 golfer to 1 instructor ratio, McLemore Group Golf Schools feature 3-hours of instruction each day, lunch, and 9-holes of On-Course Coaching each day. Along with the opportunity to bed down each evening at Cloudland at McLemore Resort, a luxury hotel that is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. - Private Golf Schools – Following the same agenda as the Group Golf Schools, you can upgrade your program to a 1-to-1 experience to a McLemore Private Golf School, with either a McLemore Golf School Staff Instructor or our Director of Instruction. These programs allow you to choose your own dates as well as how many days you’d like to attend. You can choose to improve your entire game. Or just one specific skill. McLemore Private Golf Schools are scheduled on a first come first served basis and based upon availability. You’ll want to secure your program sooner than later to ensure your intended dates are available. Go to our program information page where you can secure your program now.
McLemore Resort Features State-of-the-Art Practice Facilities
When visiting McLemore Resort for your golf improvement, you’ll utilize one of the best practice areas in North America.
The practice range is well equipped and has multiple targets to choose from. It is multi-tiered and features a private coaching area for your McLemore Private Golf School.
The Cairn is McLemore Resort’s short game course. 6-holes ranging from 35 to 80 yards, with smaller than average greens, which will test your short game skills. The Cairn also has a short game area where you can work on the mechanics of your short game before testing those skills on the course.
McLemore Resort features a half-acre practice putting green. It emulates most of the greens you’ll experience on McLemore Resort’s Highlands Course during your On-Course Coaching session. Both The Cairn and the practice green also provide you outstanding vistas of McLemore Cove, which could be a pleasant distraction as you practice.
More Programs to Come
The Golf School Programs are the first programs to be announced, just in time for the 2023 Holiday Season. Each Golf School program makes a great holiday gift for any golfer wanting to visit and play a Top 100 Golf Course while receiving world-class instruction.
More programs will be announced in January of 2024. Included in that announcement will be programs specifically designed for guests of Cloudland at McLemore Resort. On tap are daily clinics, theme/skill specific each day of the week. As well as traditional coaching programs a guest can schedule on short notice. Also, to be announced are McLemore Member Coaching Programs, designed to assist the private membership of McLemore Club and as well as the members of the soon to be opened “The Keep” course.
